World Religions Series: Baháʼí
This five-session series will be presented by Jonathan McFarland and Sahba Jalali, along with a practitioner or scholar from each different faith. Each of these sessions will put the religion into historical context and cover how its traditions are present in the local community. You will learn about the diversity of beliefs, teachings, practices, and sacred texts; how faiths and religions are practiced in our community; and discuss how all of these facets continue to shape and be shaped by culture.

Jonathan McFarland teaches Classical Ideas and World Religions at Hickman High School. Sahba Jalali is an optometrist by profession and works in the Columbia community to promote justice and religious amity. Part of Boone County's Journey Toward Inclusive Excellence.
